Fesco Caledonian Heavy Slate

Fesco Caledonian Heavy Slate

£0.725 to £1.75

The Caledonian roofing slate is specially produced for the Scottish market in a heavier, and more robust thickness, closely resembling a traditional Ballachulish slate

Nominal thickness is 7-9 mm, occasionally we have some extra heavies 400 x 250 at 10-12 mm, these may be available at no extra cost on a first come first served basis .

All slates are preholed to a standard 90 mm headlap, which can then be used to achieve headlaps from 75 mm to 105 mm.

The Caledonian is a non-fading slate in a heavy (7-9mm) grade, It has a rustic/textured surface resulting in a natural rustic roof. If your project requires a smooth flat uniform slate then we would not recommend this slate and we would be happy to discuss alternative options we have available.
