We have a large and varied range of travertine and slate mosaics. The mosaics will complement all styles of decoration from traditional to very modern. The mosaics are fixed to a mesh backing and are supplied in 305 x 305 mm sheets. There are 10.75 sheets to each m2.

We have a large selection of tumbled slate and travertine tiles which are suitable for a variety of purposes in particular kitchen splash backs, bathrooms, flooring and cladding. The tumbled stones are all supplied in 100 x 100 mm size.

     
 
Tumbling is a process where the stones are cut to size then put into a large cylindical drum with a coarse material like sand and tumbled continuously for some time resulting in tiles with rounded edges.

Every tile/slate is unique and as such may vary in colour and texture, we advise that prior to fixing all the tiles are laid out and then mixed to achieve the desired effect.

Please Note: We would ask all customers who are looking for a particular colour, texture, thickness or technical specification PLEASE DO NOT ORDER over the phone. Please contact the office and tell us your requirement. If you are looking for a consistent colour please tell us, as some stones can have wide variations and it is not always possible to show all variations in one small sample. It is recommended that you visit our warehouse to the examine the actual stock for suitability and to avoid disappointment and costs

 

Free Sample service

If you would like a sample one will be sent free of charge. If you would like more than one sample or would like full size samples the tiles are free but we charge £10 to cover postage and packaging. If you place the order with us you can use the £10 towards the cost of the total bill.
